Thank you for visiting Brook by the Sea, our little piece of Maine life.

Our house sits on a half acre of trees, flowering bushes and yes — a tiny brook that leads to the sea. Sitting on the deck, you can watch chipmunks scatter and if you are very still, maybe you’ll get lucky and see a deer, or a red-tailed hawk. We never know who is going to stop by!

We chose our house because it gives us a little space away from it all, but we’re still close enough for a quick walk to the beach — Long Sands is only a half-mile away.
